Susan
Fader
attended Rhode Island School of Design and graduated from Philadelphia
College of Art with a bachelor of Fine Art degree. Upon graduation,
Susan headed the advertising department of a large retail chain
before opening her own agency, Design Studio Two in 1980.
Based in the
Philadelphia market, her design firm specialized in design for consumer
brands such as Campbell Soup Company, Whitman Chocolates and others.
In 1989 Susan sold her interest in her agency and went into the
marketing and promotions industry where she sold products and services
to large pharmaceutical companies becoming one of the top performers
in the $20 million agency that employed her.
Susan has kept
her interest in Fine Art working in Chinese watercolor, traditional
western fine art, decorative furniture painting, and wall murals,
In 1999 Susan established Cushion /Art, Fine Art for Your Furniture.
Susan has won many awards for her work which was also included in
Art in Bloom at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Most recently,
Susan was selected for a 30 minute segment about her work by cable
television station, HGTV.
Currently Susan,
in addition to working as an art marketing coach, owns and manages
Ditto Editions, Fine Art Giclée Printmakers (www.
dittoeditions.com) with her husband, Nick Fader.
